Dear brothers and sisters, Let us pray. Let us unite our hearts and pray earnestly to God for all those affected by the severe fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong. Merciful Heavenly Father, we humbly entrust into your hands all the residents, parishioners, and families who have suffered from this fire. We ask you, in your infinite compassion, to calm their fear, soothe their wounds, and heal the anguish of their torn and shaken hearts. We pray especially for those who lost their lives in the fire: may you receive them tenderly into your loving arms and grant them rest and peace in the light of your eternity. We also earnestly pray for all who were injured: heal their bodies, strengthen their spirits, and allow them to feel your comforting presence even in the midst of their pain. Father, we further pray for all who are grieving, frightened, or lost because of this tragedy: in their darkest and most helpless moments, be their light, be their refuge, and be the strength that enables them to rebuild their lives and stand once again. Lord, we acknowledge that when disaster suddenly strikes, we humans are truly weak and powerless; yet you are our refuge, our strength, and our hope. Gently heal every broken heart, wipe away every tear of sorrow, and let your peace rest upon all who are suffering. May our Holy Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, with her maternal care, watch over all who have been afflicted, and present all our prayers before you. We ask you through Christ our Lord, Amen.
